iFilmGroup is holding an open casting call for people from 13 to 99 and all ethnic backgrounds who are interested in Acting.
The Casting Call is for various roles in dramatic training segments, Dramatic short skits, a short film and various projects that are upcoming for the rest of the year on the production slate.
Casting Call is open to actors who are beginners right up to experienced who are from London, Ontario Canada region or willing to travel at own expense.
Those interested in submitting must submit a YouTube link to short monologue of actor’s choice. Monologue must be in proper audition format and be slated with actor’s name, height, age range and where they are from. Along with the monologue each actor is asked to submit a headshot or a clear in focus head shoulder selfie shot (with no other person in the shot). If the applicant has any previous acting experience, please submit acting resume or list of productions they have been a part of. (if applicable). Acting experience not needed. If no previous acting experience please state so.
Applicants must submit package of information on or before Saturday, May 18th by 11:59pm
15 to 20 individuals will be selected from the submissions to attend a live audition day on Saturday, June 1st from 10am to 12 noon at the BMO Centre in London, Ontario Canada. Those selected will be in front of a live casting team for audition. Details of actor’s time slots, room and monologue piece for the audition will be shared with those who are selected. Only those who are selected will make it to the live audition and given a time slot. Based on quality of performance of those that submit spots for live audition may be given out prior to the submission deadline. Once 15 to 20 people are selected for the live audition submissions will be closed.
The audition code MUST be included in the email submission. Failure to follow all instructions may lead to not being selected.
Successful individuals who are cast will get an IMDb credit and access to footage shot for demo purposes.
