Since I was young, I had always wanted to become an actress. Acting is something I've always been very passionate about. As I have grown older I have become really invested in turning this passionate dream into a reality, specifically in the area of acting for TV and Film.
However, I struggled on finding ways to pursue my dream and gain experience within the area where I live. I have been trying to figure out how I can personally achieve my goals successfully and take steps into the industry within the field of acting. After applying to a Performing Arts Program for University and not successfully getting in, I made it my mission to do whatever it takes to gain the professional experience I need to ace my audition the second time around.

I was more than excited when I discovered iFilmGroup through my mom. She had talked with iFilmGroup Community Engagement Manager: Don Hickey, who gave her a business card when they met at a French exhibit at White Oaks Mall in London, during March Break. From that card, I got in contact with Matthew Marshall.
I am happy to say that Matthew has given me the opportunity to be in two films. The first being “Not Ready” where I played the role of a PSW. The second film was “Blue Love” where I played a Correctional Officer.
Through filming with this group I was able to learn about being on a set, as well as gain experience, tips, and advice from Matthew, Don, and Helena Rose. I have also learned so much from some of the lead actors on set as well.

The iFilmGroup team has promised to help me further develop my skills through working within their workshops as well as me working with their acting coach Helena Rose. Because of all this, the team has helped me feel very comfortable in front of the camera, being very friendly, energetic and patience as some of us on set were new to this experience. These skills and knowledge will help me in my future for my upcoming audition as well as in a career in acting.
